I agree with most of the people here. A remastering of Need for Speed Underground 1 and 2 would be awesome. Loved the game play of both of them and the soundtrack to NFSU1 was arguably the best meshing of music and game.
Every time I hear certain songs from that soundtrack, I can totally envision where I would have been on the race course. All that I would look for to purchase a remasters NFSU 1 would be:1) wide screen usablity (1920x1080)2) ability to use modern graphics cards more fully (doesn't need to be 4K imagery)3) more tracks (not absolutely a MUST HAVE, but would be fun)Wouldn't even need to change the game play or the music.Same holds true for NFSU2. Download big bad voodoo daddy americana deluxe rare. Better graphics compatibility, maybe more tracks or more areas to unlock.Basically both of the Underground games were absolutely fabulous even a couple years ago when I still could install it on my PC, I loved playing them (and the frustrations of finding all the 'shops' in NFSU2).Bringing these 2 back would great!
Press the 'Start' button on the controller to advance past the game's Title Menu into the Main Menu. Once in the main menu, highlight the 'Settings' option and press 'Start.' Access the Control Settings page to adjust the layout of buttons on the controller. Configure the controller's settings until you have a layout that's suitable for driving.
For example, set the brake button next to the acceleration in order to facilitate fast driving action. Press 'Save' to save changes to the controller settings. Wait for the start of the race in line with the competitor's vehicles.
When you receive the green light, press the acceleration button. For the PlayStation 2, press the X button or move the right analog stick up to throttle. On the Xbox, press the right trigger to throttle the vehicle. Use the left analog on either video game console's controller to steer the car.
On the PS2, push down on the right analog stick or press the Square button to brake. To brake on the Xbox, press the left trigger. Press 'L1' on the PS2, or 'B' on the Xbox, to use nitrous for an extra boost.
