  First introduced in 2008, the MacBook Air originally represented Apple\'s first substantial re-entry into the subnotebook market in many years. Since it was first introduced, though, the MacBook Air became more powerful and capable and replaced the more \'traditional\' MacBook altogether in 2012. However, in 2015, the \'regular\' MacBook was re-introduced as an even smaller notebook than the MacBook Air. Complete MacBook Air technical specs are below.

  HiFor an upcoming event I need a setup for processing 3 camera feeds (SDI).Requirements for the setup:-Storing all 3 camera feeds (event is 8 hours nonstop)-Create a live edit out of the 3 camera feeds and store it.-Portable (it has to be transported to the location and ready in less than 1 hour)Attached you can see, how I guess the setup could look like, but I\'m not sure, if this works. If there is a better/other recommendation, I\'ll be happy for your answer.The Mac Mini\'s are just for storing the camera feeds - I\'m trying to use less space, so I can build it into a portable rack and be ready at the event in less than an hour. I would prefer Equipment for 4k resolution over HD.Additional Questions:Does the Ultrastudio 4K process 2x SDI 4k channels simultaneously?Is the Mac Mini enough to use it as a Software Raid for the Multidock storage?   Depending on your budget you may be able to make that a bit simpler.Gear list:4x Hyperdeck Studio Pro record decks ($1,995 each, $7980 total)1x ATEM Production Studio 4K ($1,695)- Total $9675From there you would be able to record each camera individually as well as mix all three cameras to a 4th record deck. Since the computer isn\'t processing any video, you can use just about anything. Just need to make sure the computer and ATEM switcher are on the same network.My solution will cost a bit more, but you eliminate the failure point of the MacMinis.

  You also don\'t need to buy said MacMinis nor would you need to buy video switching software like Wirecast. Even assuming you need to buy all of the gear, I\'m still a bit more $$, but also a lot more stable. Your setup time will also be crazy fast. Drop all of the gear in to a 8RU travel case.   HiFor an upcoming event I need a setup for processing 3 camera feeds (SDI).Requirements for the setup:-Storing all 3 camera feeds (event is 8 hours nonstop)-Create a live edit out of the 3 camera feeds and store it.-Portable (it has to be transported to the location and ready in less than 1 hour)Attached you can see, how I guess the setup could look like, but I\'m not sure, if this works.   Depending on your budget you may be able to make that a bit simpler.Gear list:4x Hyperdeck Studio Pro record decks ($1,995 each, $7980 total)1x ATEM Production Studio 4K ($1,695)- Total $9675From there you would be able to record each camera individually as well as mix all three cameras to a 4th record deck. Since the computer isn\'t processing any video, you can use just about anything. Just need to make sure the computer and ATEM switcher are on the same network.My solution will cost a bit more, but you eliminate the failure point of the MacMinis.
